According to the dictionary, the word “minx” means, “A girl or young woman who is considered pert, flirtatious, or impudent”, and this is probably what a Seat dealer wants to say with a new special edition version of its Mii city car named “Miinx”.

The Miinx began life as a one-off show car from the UK dealership “Dales Seat” in Cornwall after Sales Manager Tom Rawlings decided that he wanted “something different”, but it drew so much attention in the process that the car is now offered as a limited edition model.

“We’ve been absolutely overwhelmed by the response to the special edition since we launched it,” said Rawlings. “From the day we first parked it outside our showroom, people have made a point of coming in to tell us what they think.”

With a little bit of imagination, you could say that the bright pink Miinx is the opposite of the ‘black viper’ version of the Mii Vibora Negra, unveiled by the Spanish brand back in July.

The car is based on the three-door Mii Sport that’s powered by a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder engine with 74hp (75 PS), with the transformation including a pink vinyl wrap for the bodywork and distinctive smoked headlamps.

The Cornwall dealer has put a price tag of £11,500 on the Miinx, with £100 going to the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity for every car sold.
