Shortly after introducing the modestly revised for the 2013 model year Jimny, Suzuki is now offering its updated compact 4×4 model in the United Kingdom, with prices remaining unchanged over the previous version.

Exterior styling revisions are limited to a new front bumper and grille design with five slots, together with a new bonnet shape that houses a central air scoop. The redesign of the front bumper has led to a slight increase in overall length of 30mm to 3,675mm (144.7 inches). There’s also a new, optional available, Breeze Blue metallic color.

Inside, Suzuki has replaced the front and rear headrests and added standard ISOFIX child seat mountings to the rear seats, while the base SZ3 grade gains new seat fabric trims.

The Jimny continues to be offered with the same 1.3-liter petrol engine delivering 84hp (85PS) and 81lbft of torque delivered at 4,100 rpm as before.

With the standard manual gearbox, the small 4×4 returns 39.8mpg UK (7.1lt/100km) on the combined cycle (38.7mpg UK for the automatic) and CO2 output of 162g/km and (auto: 167g/km).

On-the-road prices in the UK start at £11,995 for the base SZ3 and rise to £12,900 with manual transmission or £13,800 with automatic transmission for the higher-specification SZ4.
