U Spy: Reader Wants to Know What Prototype he Filmed on the Dolomites

|

Unless you're an employee of an automaker's engineering department, there's no (legal) way of knowing when and where you're going to stumble upon a prototype model testing on the road.

However, you can always be prepared for the opportunity by fitting a camera on your car, which is the case of CarScoop reader Michael R. who was recording his ride up Passo di Falzarego in the Italian Dolomites in an open-top Porsche model when a camouflaged model crossed his path.

"Hi guys... I was driving in the Alps and caught the following spy shots/videos... any idea what it could be?," Michael asked CarScoop.

Well Michael, we do have an idea of what car it is, but how about we let our readers sharpen their minds and give it a first take?

Thanks to Michael R. for the video!

Why do Europeans have this obsession with car cams all of sudden?

PS: C-class. you can see it in its droopy back side.

Actually while technically being European, I live in the US and was on an European delivery tour :).

And thanks EuropeOn... definitively an AMG C63!
