We're going to guess that Taiwanese authorities placed a slab of concrete in front of this zebra crossing to protect pedestrians from vehicles, but it also seems to work as a punishment tool for impatient drivers.
Take this gifted driver of a black Toyota sedan, who not only disregarded the red light but also tried to make a quick illegal left turn.
In his (or her) hurry to get in front of the other cars and make the turn, the driver failed to notice the concrete slab and smashed right into it.
Something tells us from the steam coming from the engine bay and the trail of water left behind, the driver won't be going too far…

I love it. Seeing recklessly stupid / stupidly reckless drivers like that (1) getting their 4-wheeled phallic extension damaged (2) getting an ego-reset (3) getting FILMED in the process.
