Official pictures of the new Bentley Continental GTC Speed model have dripped on the web, ahead of a rumored world premiere at next month’s North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Other than the photos, we don’t have anything else on the latest addition to the Continental’s range, but it is evident from the pictures that the GTC Speed’s styling cues are identical to the coupe model of the series.

That said, we also expect the same to apply under the hood, with the convertible borrowing the Continental GT Speed’s uprated 6.0-liter twin turbocharged W12 engine that generates an extra 49hp and 74 lb-ft over the regular GTC for a total of output of 616hp (625PS) at 6,000 rpm and peak torque of 590 lb-ft (800Nm).

The drop top model should be a tad slower than the coupe, which can hit 60mph (96km/h) in 4.0 seconds and top out at 205mph (330km/h).

It shouldn’t be too long until Bentley comes out with an official announcement on the car, but in the meantime, head over the break for the photo gallery.
