Look at Them Go: Mercedes' New E63 AMG and E63 AMG S-Model 4MATIC

|

Earlier this week, Mercedes-Benz completed the update of the E-Class sedan and Estate/Wagon range with the presentation of the almighty AMG variants.

The new snout and re-worked body of the E63 AMG Sedan and Wagon tell only half the story as Mercedes also boosted the standard twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V8 to 550HP (557PS) and 531 lb-ft (720 Nm), and enhanced the lineup with all-wheel drive 4MATIC versions and an even more powerful S model rated at 577HP and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm).

After sharing pictures of the new E63 AMG models, Mercedes now wants us to check them all out with our eyes and ears on the track in the videos you'll find waiting for you after the break.

Now there is nothing remotely handsome about the E63 AMG except its speed - shame.

i have heard a lot of people knock this face lift, but i have to disagree, this redesign is much better than the car it replaces and puts it in the mix with its rivals. the previous iteration could never hold a candle to its rivals, let alone its predecessor, but this model is gorgeous and as i get a better glance at the tailights, i like it even more... and the speed and noise is intoxicating, specifically in this model in a way that neither of its rivals can replicate. the amg biturbo is the best engine out currently in terms of performance, noise, and efficiency!
