The presentation of the facelifted 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan last month was only the beginning for the series as the brand with the star will soon present the updated versions of the rest of the E-Class range beginning with the E63 AMG performance saloon and continuing with the Wagon (T-Model), Coupe and Convertible variants.

Seen here as a speculative rendering made by Khalil Bouguerra is the new E63 AMG, which is based on the regular E-Class sedan with input from a revealing single spy shot of a camouflage free prototype spotted in Spain back in October last year.

Besides the new single unit headlamps that are a staple of the facelifted E-Class series, the AMG model will gain a new body kit highlighted by a more aggressively styled front end with massive air vents on the bumper.

Beneath the new skin, the most important change is expected to be the availability for the first time of a specially tuned version of Mercedes-Benz’s 4MATIC all-wheel drive system.

The new bi-turbocharged V8-powered E63 AMG in both RWD and AWD flavors will be released onto the market later this year.
