Hyundai is like one of those kids who just can't stay put, always looking to improve and/or renew its product line, something that has served the Korean automaker well over the years.
In the past few weeks alone, we've seen Hyundai update both its Korean market Equus and Grandeur (also known as the Azera), while also preparing a facelift for the North American market Equus, and continuing development on the next Genesis Sedan.
The test car is evidently larger, both in terms of length and width, while it also has different proportions and details compared to the current model including the shape of the roofline, the front and rear pillars and its profile lines, all of which afford it a more mature and modern look.
Under the hood, expect a selection of small displacement three-cylinder petrol and possibly, a diesel option.
Since Hyundai has already stated that its factory in Turkey will produce the new i10 from the end of 2013, look for the new i10 to make its world premiere at the Geneva Salon in March or possibly the Frankfurt auto show in September, with sales to follow early next year.
