Bentley is informing us “The wait is almost over…” for the unveiling of its heavily redesigned four-door Continental model, the Flying Spur, through a few more teaser videos, only a couple of days ahead of the car’s online premiere on February 20, and its public debut at the Geneva Auto Salon in the beginning of March.
Many of the new design details, both inside and out, can be traced back to the updated Continental GT coupe and Continental GTC convertible, with which the 2014 Flying Spur also shares a new 8-speed automatic transmission for all powerplants, including the newly added 4.0-liter turbo’d V8 with 500hp (507PS) and 660Nm (487 lb-ft).
A tweaked 6.0-litre bi-turbocharged W12 will continue to be the most powerful engine in the range.
