A couple of weeks ago, we had the opportunity to share the first official imagery of Kia’s sported up Pro_Cee’d GT in advance of the three-door hatchback’s world premiere at next month’s Geneva Auto Salon.

Now we can show you what the five-door model of Kia’s sport series, the new Cee’d GT, will look like thanks to an official picture and a trio spy shots of an undisguised model that was photographed parked on a road in South Korea.

As one would expect, the Cee’d GT gets the same styling treatment as the three-door Pro_Cee’d GT with honeycomb mesh grille inserts, a bespoke front bumper featuring eight LED daytime running lights, a redesigned rear bumper with a diffuser and twin exhausts, and 18-inch alloys with red brake calipers.

We haven’t seen it yet, but Kia has said the two cars will share the same interior upgrades, including Recaro sports seats with red stitching up front, sport steering wheel and bespoke trim appliques.

Both the Cee’d and Pro_Cee’d GT are powered by a 1.6-litre GDI turbocharged petrol engine rated for 204PS (201bhp) and 265 Nm (195lb-ft) connected to a six-speed manual gearbox turning the front wheels.
