Besides being pretty and all, one of the other main reasons why Fiat's 'Nuovo' 500 is so popular in Europe is its small footprint that allows drivers to easily navigate through narrow roads and have a better chance at finding a parking space in crowded cities.
Yet an older man in a Fiat 500 somehow managed to wreak havoc on a street in the Italian town of Cardito, located about 14 kilometers or 9 miles northeast of Naples.
A resident standing at a balcony from a nearby building filmed the driver of the Italian mini as he positioned the car diagonally on the road. We're not sure if he was trying to park, turn around or something else, but what ensued is nothing short of tragicomic…
Watch the 9 minute-long video and you will see what we mean by that.

wtf? is everything happening on that road that day? lol
omg there was a gate few meters back....why the hell not turn there?
with the old cinquecento it would never hit the news.
They'd just pick it up and turn it around the other side..
I started to think it was some wacky Mel Brooks movie.
The passenger looked devastated to be in the car w/ that guy driving.
EPIC!
4:43 on just about confirms every Italian stereotype one would have. Starting with the man who takes while waving a clasped hand back in forth. Also, I'm not saying only Italian's are stereotyped. I'm merely commenting on the content of this article and video. Everybody fits a stereotype and every group exhibits some sort of stereotypical behavior. They exist for a reason... because they are or were true. There, now I covered my ass.
What a tool! He couldn't even steer in the right direction.
It's clearly a FAKE!
It's a fake. I good one though...
Che casino. (The letter C is a hard C, pronounced like a K). Translation: What a mess.
The crowd offered to pick up the car but the driver refused. "Non tocare la macchina," do not touch my car. The two people arguing, the lady & the man, were expressing their opinion. She thinks its ok, he, totally opposed. At 3:56 (remaining), one of the bikers is trying to pickup the woman in the Ford, the 1st car. You have to replay it a few times to get the conversation, but that's what it sounds like. The Italian language is heavily influenced by region, and thus accent, so I wasn't able to fully understand the biker throwing the flowers (the grave) in the car. There's no mistaking this was not a fake. This is Italy.
all they had to do was two people on each 1 of the 4 corners of the car, lift, and straighten it out. LOL!!!
And where is the Italian Mafia when you need it?
