Could this be our best look at the new 2013 Skoda Octavia RS to date? Well, we can’t really say with certainty if it’s the real deal, but the cut in the front grille suggests that it may be a Photoshop of the regular Octavia Mk3.

Nevertheless, it does look almost identical to the RS in the pictures purportedly sourced from the official configurator that we showed you back in December. The main differences with that car are the fully smoked headlamps, the black colored alloy wheels and the black finish of the roof.

Whatever the case may be with this picture, the actual Octavia RS (labeled the vRS in Britain), will be presented later this year, and like the outgoing model, will be offered with both a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol (possibly shared with the next Golf GTI) and a diesel engine with the same displacement.
