While we’re waiting for Lamborghini to get us up to date on the new Veneno, we discovered a fresh set of high-resolution images of the limited run supercar, including the first photos of the interior.

Designed to celebrate Lamborghini’s 50th birthday, the Veneno is an Aventador LP700-4 spin-off featuring a completely different body and a redesigned interior with the same racecar-like feel of the exterior.

Power for the new Lamborghini comes from a massaged version of the Aventador’s 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 rated for 740hp instead of 700-horses, with the Italians quoting a top speed of 220mph (354km/h).

Besides the Geneva Motor Show prototype pictured here, Lamborghini will manufacture three production models, each one finished in a color of the Italian flag (green, white and red) and priced at £3.1 million (equal to US$4.7 million or €3.6 million). All three production cars have already been spoken for.
