Aside from the show-stealing appearance of the all-new Octavia, Skoda’s Geneva stand also featured interesting special editions of two of their older cars. The first of these is the familiar Fabia Combi (estate), which has been given an optional Monte Carlo package, which has been available for the regular hatchback model since 2011.

The trim grade affords the Fabia estate 16-inch wheels, sports suspension, smoked headlights, dark-tinted windows and a discrete rear spoiler. The car also gets a selection of unique color options to differentiate the Monte Carlos from lesser models – the paint finish of the car in the photo below is called Race Blue and is definitely one of the top choices for prospective buyers.

The Fabia Combi Monte Carlo is available with the complete range of engines available for the regular models – but its sporty looks really warrants one of the turbocharged petrol engines.

The other “special” Skoda present at the show is the Roomster Noir, a sinister-looking all-black version of the spacious MPV.

Based on the “Ambition” design pack, it adds smoked headlights and tinted windows, just like the Fabia, which are complimented by the black paint and dark-grey 16-inch rims. Nevertheless, despite called the Noir, this Roomster can be had in a variety of colors – one in particular caught our eye, called Cappuccino Beige.
