WARNING: Some readers may find the following video story disturbing.

We can all agree that no one wants to be in a car accident (or any type of accident, for that matter), and certainly no one wants to be trapped in their car if something like this were to happen (knock on wood), but when it does, your best hope for survival are the emergency crews.

YouTube user Ed Capriles shared a video of a dramatic rescue effort of a young woman who was stuck in her third-gen Hyundai Elantra saloon after an accident that took place earlier this month in Miami Beach, and which shows us how the crews work to save lives.

“The driver of a car was going at a high speed in a residential neighborhood and failed to stop at a stop sign, hitting an incoming taxi cab with tremendous force and then a wall and a concrete power line post,” wrote Ed Capriles on his video channel. “The victim waited almost 45 minutes trapped in the car until paramedics using the jaws of life rescue her from the car wreck.”

Regardless of who is at fault here, we wish the unnamed driver and anyone else who might have been injured in the incident, a speedy recovery.
