Cars have a tendency to flip onto their side (or roof) when they are unsettled and destabilized. If by the latter one refers to a truck hitting the car on the highway and at speed, then spinning it around, before finally flipping it onto its roof, then do check out the video we posted after the virtual jump below.
Details are sparse, but the accident did take place in Russia and on the highway. Apparently, the driver of the black Lada Samara 2 sedan (we may need confirmation on that) tried to avoid some other cars which were stopped in his lane, and this way the car ended up in front of the truck.
Speeds were high, and there is more than enough force to send the car flying across all of the lanes, on its side and then on its roof – it may have landed back on its wheels, but we can’t tell as it exits the field of view of the the evidently terrified driver of the dash mounted camera-equipped vehicle. Scary stuff indeed…
