BMW has been caught up in the…illusion of marketing and product placement in yet another Hollywood flick, this time in the upcoming action-thriller film “Now You See Me“, directed by Louis Leterrier and starring Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman and Woody Harrelson.

The brand with the blue and white roundel logo collaborated with the makers of the film to share / advertise a video trailer from the move covering plenty of scenes in which its cars are featured, and focusing especially on its bread-and-butter 3-Series sedan.

The movie, which according to IMBD, is about “an FBI agent and an Interpol detective track a team of illusionists who pull off bank heists during their performances and reward their audiences with the money,” is scheduled for release on May 31, 2013.
