As far as fast and expensive estate cars are concerned, there are many which fit in the €80,000 to €120,000 price bracket, but most are German, all-wheel drive and usually a tad soulless, as fans of Italian car brands like to say.
If you are looking for a fancy estate with a lot of punch, costing about that much, then you are in luck, because something very Italian and exclusive has cropped up, and it’s set to go under the hammer on May 25.
It’s a very interesting and bespoke shooting brake model based on the 2009 Maserati Quattroporte. Called the Touring Bellagio Fastback by Touring Superleggera, the car was originally built specially for ex-Ducati president Carlo Bonomi, and is one of only four in the world.
It is really one of the few coach-built cars of the modern era, which also happens to work because it gets all of the running gear of the luxury sedan on which it’s based.
If you are interested, learn its full story on RM Auctions’ official site, where you can also register and bid on the car, if it tickles your fancy enough and doesn't dent your wallet too much.
