As you probably know, 2013 is the year Lamborghini is celebrating its 50th anniversary. To mark this important milestone, the carmaker recently organized a 1200-km (746-mi) tour in Italy with 350 Lamborghinis from all eras being entered by owners from 29 countries.
EVO’s Harry Metcalfe was one of the lucky participants that had the chance to drive a Lamborghini Countach through the spectacular Italian landscape. He used the event to make a video about the history of Lamborghini V12 models, starting from the 350GT – the brand’s first production vehicle – and ending with the stunning Aventador.
Metcalfe didn’t have to look too much for specific models to exemplify the Lamborghini V12 history lesson, as Lamborghini’s 50th Anniversary Grand Tour had almost all models represented.
