Given the popularity of diesel models across most segments in Europe, it’s no wonder that many tuners present special packages for oil burners like the Jaguar XF (facelift) Diesel V6 S, which leaves the factory with a 3.0-liter unit rated for 271hp (275PS) and 600Nm (442 lb-ft) of peak torque, and an 8-speed auto turning the rear wheels.

Germany’s Loder1899 has released a performance and styling kit for this model, with prices, excluding assembly and painting, starting from €12,445 (about US$16,300 at today’s exchange rates).

What you get for the price of a supermini –chic– is an engine tune up that pushes the diesel V6’s maximum output to 306hp (310PS) and peak torque to 680Nm (501 lb-ft), reducing the 0-100km/h sprint time to 6.2 seconds (from 6.4 seconds), but slightly increasing combined fuel economy from the stock model’s 6.0l/100km (39.2 mpg US) to 6.1l/100km (38.9 mpg US).

You also get a 35mm lowered sports suspension, a quad stainless steel sports exhaust system, a styling kit with a sculptured front apron, black and red trim bits, smoked lights all around, black grille, a carbon fiber rear diffuser and spoiler, plus new 21-inch rims in tires size 255/30R21.
