Dodge dealers are taking in orders for the limited-edition Mopar ’13 Dart, which starts from $25,485 (€19,140), excluding a $995 (€750) delivery fee. The limited-edition Dart, which will be built in 500 units, will arrive this summer at dealerships across the country.

Mopar touches include a signature Pitch Black exterior with offset Mopar blue racing stripe running from nose to tail, a color scheme that is similar to previous Mopar editions of the Dodge Charger, Challenger and Chrysler 300.

On the inside, the seats are covered in Katzkin leather, with the driver’s seat being Mopar blue with black accents while the rest of the seats are black with blue accents. Other enhancements include black leather coverings with blue stitching on the steering wheel and shift knob and blue lighting around the instrument panel.

No surprises under the hood as the Mopar ’13 Dart is powered by the regular 1.4-liter MultiAir turbocharged and intercooled 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine, which develops 160 hp at 5,500 rpm and 184 lb-ft (249 Nm) of torque. The unit is linked to a six-speed manual transmission. Mopar also fits a sport-tuned exhaust to make the Dart sound sportier.

The car has a 7mm lower ride height than the base Dart, with Mopar adding a ground effects kit consisting of chin spoiler, deck-lid spoiler and rear diffuser, plus low-profile profile 225/40R18 tires mounted on gloss-black 18-inch wheels. The limited-edition Dart also gets premium disc brakes with slotted rotors and a recalibrated power steering.

Standard equipment goods include an 8.4-inch Uconnect screen, a bright sport-pedal kit, door-sill guards, premium Mopar floor mats and wireless charging for smartphones.
