There are so many ways in which a video ad for a practical affordable vehicle can be made, but it seems that at Renault, having people put in or move out various objects is more than enough.

Sure, it highlights the practical side of these affordable vehicles well, but those in the market for one are already expecting that so it is a bit redundant – it can’t be that hard to make something which is both informative and entertaining to watch with the kind of ad wizardry that goes on behind the scenes.

Renault makes some very good small, affordable vehicles that are very popular in Europe, and now after refreshing the Kangoo commercial van and revealing the redesigned Dacia Logan MCV, they have released several promo videos showcasing the news. There’s also a revised Kangoo Maxi Z.E., which honestly deserved more interest, and a differentiated approach – it should make a lot of sense for companies requiring short delivery trips in town, with frequent stops and traffic lights.

As always, they are keen to make the facts and figures known, though, (important ones like carrying capacity, or load size), along with speeding up shots of stacking boxes, so all of the videos have them listed very clearly, thus taking care of the being informative part, neglecting to also cater for our right-brain needs at the same time.
