After showing up at the Goodwood Festival of Speed for its dynamic debut a couple of weeks ago, the Alfa Romeo 4C will be making a second public appearance in the UK this Sunday, August 4, as the as Official Safety Car to the Silverstone round of the FIM World Superbike Championship.

The 4C Safety Car sports a white matte body (it could be a foil wrap, as Alfa doesn’t clarify) with metallic red accents on the side skirts and lower parts of the front and rear apron, plus stripes in the red, white and green colors of the Italian flag. Though we’re not fans of flag-liveried cars in general, one must admit that this Alfa is quite a looker.

Damien Dally, Head of Brand at Alfa Romeo UK commented: “Alfa Romeo is a proud sponsor of the FIM World Superbike Championship having been associated with the series for seven years now. As we prepare to launch the Alfa 4C here in the UK, it’s fantastic to be able to showcase this car to the public for a second time as it takes to the prestigious Silverstone circuit.”

The 240hp compact sports coupé will go on sale before the end of the year.
