Renault has introduced the first limited-edition version of its Clio-based crossover, called the Captur Arizona. Exclusively available in France, the special edition model stands out from standard models thanks to the specific Orange paint for the bodywork combined with contrasting Etoilé Black painted window pillar and roof.

The package includes extra-tinted rear glass, rugged front and rear skid plates and 17-inch black diamond-effect wheels. On the inside, the seats have removable black and orange upholstery with a special “Captur” pattern, while the floor mats have orange edges.

In addition to the Captur Intens trim level upon which it is based, the Arizona also brings a connected R-Link in-dash multimedia tablet, while the Techno Pack includes a reversing camera. Standard equipment also includes an armrest and a stainless steel boot sill guard.

The special edition FWD small crossover can be ordered with any of the engines available for the standard Captur: the 90hp 0.9-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder gasoline unit, the 120hp 1.2-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder gasoline engine and the 90hp 1.5-liter turbodiesel. The 120hp unit is only available with Renault’s six-speed EDC dual-clutch gearbox, which is optional for the diesel engine.

The Captur Arizona goes on sale in France on September 4, with prices ranging from €20,200 ($26,610) for the Energy TCe90 version to €23,800 ($31,370) for the Energy dCi 90 EDC. Renault says that the Captur Arizona’s standard equipment package represents a saving to the customer of 5.3 percent than if the options were specified individually.
