Lamborghini has released the first photos of the open top version of its limited run Veneno supercar, not through its official channels but….via the UK’s Top Gear magazine, which tells us that the Roadster will be permanently open, as it does not come with any kind of roof guaranteeing an “intense driving experience”, according to the automaker.

That’s the main difference with the “regular” Veneno Coupe, with both versions based on the internals of the Aventador sharing the same 740hp (750PS) 6.5-liter V12 engine paired to a sequential manual gearbox and permanent all-wheel-drive.

Any owners willing to try it out, will discover that the Veneno Roadster can go from zero to 100km/h (62mph) in just 2.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 354km/h (220mph), though, we don’t know what that will feel like without any protection from the elements of nature above your head.

It is mentioned that, while Lamborghini offered only three examples of the Veneno coupe for sale, it will produce nine Veneno Roadsters, each priced at around £3.3 million, which comes to US$5.3 million and €3.9 million.

Update: We found better and higher resolution images online that we added below.
