Hyundai’s most affordable model in the United States, the Accent compact in both sedan and hatchback forms, will soldier on to the new model year with added standard equipment and new style and convenience features.

In particular, for 2014, the Korean carmaker has added one-touch triple turn signal, sliding sun visors and a driver’s blind spot mirror as standard on all Accent trims, while updating the standard audio system updated for improved voice recognition and button layout.

Furthermore, the 5-door SE and 4-door Premium Package models obtain more modern looking projector headlights with LED accents and a ‘welcome/escort’ function, along with driver’s side auto-up window and tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel.

Finally, Hyundai is also offering an available B&M Racing Sport Shifter for the SE hatchback.

Pricing is expected to be announced soon.
