Here’s our first look at the Lamborghini’s next supercar that will replace the Gallardo, tipped to be called the Cabrera, without the obstructing / annoying black plastic moldings of the previous prototypes.

Seen here parked next to an Audi sedan at a gas station in Europe, the new Lamborghini’s supercar proportions and especially its low height and wide body become instantly clear, while the absence of the trick moldings allow us to view its wedge-shape and some of the Aventador-like details such as the headlamp clusters.

Sharing its underpinning with the next iteration of the Audi R8, the Gallardo’s replacement will draw its power from an evolved version of the current naturally aspirated V10 engine with around 600-horses connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, driving either the rear or all-four wheels.
