James (Jim) Glickenhaus garnered a lot of attention with his custom Pininfarina-bodied P4/5, a Ferrari Enzo-based car built back in 2006 with a unique shape matched by few other supercars for sheer panache; he even got it eligible and took it racing a few years later and it was successful there, as well.

Now he’s just announced a new project, dubbed the SCG003, and given the history, we’re definitely interested. The press information promises a new car with an exclusive chassis, V6 engine with twin turbos and a goal of unveiling it at the 2015 Geneva motor show, before racing it at the Nürburgring 24H race the same year, in the new SPX Class.

This time he’s asked for help from a company called GranStudio – they’ve been working on the car since last July, but the design was only finalized in September, with Glickenhaus choosing one of two proposals.

Paolo Garella will be overseeing the project, and since we really (and probably everybody else) like his New Stratos (based on a Ferrari F430), we’re very eager to see what the resulting car will be like this time.
