Subaru has high expectation of the 2015 WRX and wants to convince potential buyers of the car’s qualities in a new video featuring Masuo Takatsu, project general manager of the new WRX.

The video shows various stages of the car’s development, with Mr. Takatsu talking about the car’s strengths. One of the most important upgrades, according to the engineer, is the steering response time, which he claims, has “dramatically” improved and is now on par with European sports cars.

As well as shortening response time, Subaru engineers also gave the car a sharper turn in thanks to improved rear grip. A lot of attention was dedicated to obtaining the driving feel customers expect from a Subaru WRX, and Takatsu says it was achieved by building a stiffer body to work in conjunction with the stiff suspension, but without altering ride quality.
