Just a few hours ago, we reported about Chevrolet’s website coding slipup that revealed the new 2015 Corvette Stingray Z06’s output numbers through the search result metadata, but not the type of engine.

Now, a freshly released photo from GM tuning specialist Lingenfelter Performance may provide an answer to that, as the allegedly official cropped picture shows the upper side of the Z06’s fender vent, which was hidden from the original press teaser.

The badge reads, “Z06 SUPERCHARGED”, and if true, it confirms earlier reports (see Jalopnik’s piece with the leaked engine pics here) of a new supercharged V8 unit named LT4.

According to the metadata that has since been removed from Chevy’s website (we took a print screen below), the supercharged V8 pushes out 115hp more than the outgoing Z06’s naturally-aspirated 7.0-liter V8 at 620 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque.
