Audi chose to announce the unveiling of their revised A8 model through the use of videos very similar to the one posted below. It’s so cliché and so fake that you can’t even watch it until the end with a straight face.

Besides, there’s no reason to do so, as this so-called teaser acts purely as an announcement. That makes it even worse than the A8/S8 one, as that at least showed the outlines of the cars that were being unveiled – this new one shows nothing and the man presenting the whole thing uses ambiguous phrases to try and create hype simply because they are releasing a new model;

They don’t say what it is, but judging by the level of excitement exuded by the video, I bet it’s not the successor to the efficient aluminum-built A2 city car, and probably something expensive instead, whose value will be doubled once you tick all of the options boxes that you’d like, as is tradition.

It could be a production version of the Quattro Concept or even more possibly, the new TT. We’ll all find out on February 12.
