It seems that Top Gear took note of our criticism of adopting an overly-British approach their funny trio of trailers…that Americans purportedly did not get. We just kid, of course, but we appreciate the attention and thank them for providing us with a much more action-packed and longer sneak peek to soothe our simple minds, in preparation for the upcoming 21st season of the BBC’s biggest hit show.

Due to air on February 2, the new season will have the presenters drive across vast distances in old trucks, break through walls in a tank while wearing a fake moustache and also praise the pants off of McLaren’s new P1 hypercar.

Naturally, at some point, one of the presenters will be dangling above water with the other two laughing it off on the shore… James May will also be deforming his face via a Caterham Seven, following in the footsteps of Jeremy’s own wind-induced facial reconfiguration in the Ariel Atom.

However, this latest trailer makes no mention of the small hatchback trip that the trio of presenters took through Ukraine, presumably en route to Sochi for the Winter Olympics.

The first episode, the one that airs this Sunday will have “The team attempt to prove that the hot hatchbacks of their youth were better than their modern equivalents by buying a ‘classic’ example of the breed each and then undertaking a series of challenges,” while the guest invited into the studio is actor Hugh Bonneville.
