The only time you want to have a clear look of your car’s underbody is when it is up on a hoist to change wheels, oil or any other regular maintenance tasks, and surely never on the road…

This matte-black painted (or wrapped), E60 generation BMW M5 saloon lying down on its roof on what looks like a quiet street in the city of Manresa, located in the geographic center of Catalonia, Spain, was photographed by a forum member over at Autogespot.

The author says he doesn’t know how and under what circumstances the accident took place, but the damage done to the car doesn’t seem to be extensive for the way it landed (still, make no mistake, it will cost a small fortune to fix), and it doesn’t look like there were any casualties from these images.
