Nissan’s Asia-focused budget brand Datsun has released a sketch of a new concept car that will debut at the Delhi Auto Expo 2014 (February 5-11) in India. The carmaker didn’t provide any details about the study other than it points the way to a possible future model.

“The concept car represents a possible direction for the future expansion of Datsun’s model line-up for up-and-coming young customers in high-growth markets, such as India,” reads Datsun’s press release.

Judging from the looks of the study and its target group, it looks like it previews a city car model that would be positioned below Datsun’s current models, the GO supermini and the GO+ small MPV. As far as design is concerned, the Datsun study looks pretty good – but almost all concept cars do, don’t they?

The new concept car will be unveiled at Datsun’s press conference on February 5 in Hall 12 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida Delhi NCR.
