Peugeot will introduce an all-new concept car at the Beijing Auto Show (April 20-29), with the French carmaker saying the study is “from the same lineage” as the Onyx supercar concept.

The French automaker added that the new study hints at the brand’s future design and revealed that the car is 4.73-m (186.2-in) long and only 1.31-m (51.6-in) tall, which should provide it with a sporty stance. The concept is also stated to have room for four passengers and their luggage while offering “athletic and refined styling,” according to the release.

We’re also informed that the study features the same range of original materials that were first used for Onyx and which form part of the Peugeot Style approach, offering a direction for future vehicles.

Judging from the teaser photo, the car could be a coupe or a four-door coupe with an aggressive look. Peugeot will offer further clues of the study’s shape at the International Automobile Festival (January 29-February 2) through an original and ephemeral installation at the foot of the Dôme des Invalides in Paris.
