Since Volvo itself said the new XC Coupe concept contains the brands new design language that will be applied on the next Volvo XC90, IndianAutosBlog decided that it would be a good idea to manipulate photos of the latter in the hopes of making it look like the eagerly anticipated production SUV.

They’ve kept the original design pretty much intact, but have given it four doors, more believable-looking headlights and a few other tweaks to finish it off.

The result can be seen both above and below in higher resolution, and it looks like a fairly accurate interpretation of what it could look like.

I expressed my sympathy towards the XC Coupe’s design and I think it’s carried over nicely into the rendering too, even with the two additional doors. They don’t make it any worse to look at, though the conventional-looking headlights kind of do; hopefully Volvo will come up with some cool design for these too, or, why not, retain the look of the ones seen on the concept.

This is all we have to go on for another year (or two), before the Chinese-owned Swedes finally reveal what it actually looks like.
