If we want to be honest, Lancia is on its very last lifeline, even though parent company Fiat, or shall we say, the FCA group for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, hasn’t placed the stone on the grave yet.

The Italians have decided that, over the coming months, Lancia will shut down all operations outside its home market where it will cling on to dear life with the Ypsilon alone.

For how long it will do so, we do not know, but if it does hang around for a bit, we think fans of the brand wouldn’t mind seeing this rendering for a hot version of the Ypsilon with Lancia’s famed “HF” moniker, made by Khalil Bouguerra from Virtuel-Car, coming to life.

It’s no Delta Integrale, but it would be better than nothing, right?

Thanks to Khalil Bouguerra from Virtuel-Car for the renders!
