Maserati seems like the only other brand besides Ferrari in Europe that is getting plenty of attention from parent company FCA (for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles – better start getting used to it). At the Geneva Motor Show next week, the Italians will perform the world premieres of a brand new concept model and a special edition Quattroporte (pictured).

The only thing mentioned about the new study in the Trident brand’s extremely short press blurb is that, “the much anticipated concept car will give a nod to the style of Maseratis of the next 100 years”, which I must say, doesn’t exactly sound right, in the sense that, who applies a design formula for a century, but we’ll see.

For what it’s worth, the word on the street is that it could preview the next GranTurismo.

The second world premiere is that of the Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna Limited Edition based on the production-ready study of the same name from last year’s Frankfurt Motor Show.

“This elegant model will be produced in 100 units, one for each of the years of life of Maserati,” the company said. What makes this version differ from the standard car are the color selections inside and out, and the materials used in the interior.
