Having wrapped up the world premieres of both the new 2015 WRX and its more aggressive STI counterpart at the 2013 LA and 2014 Detroit auto shows respectively, Subaru confirmed official pricing today for the entire series as it prepares for their U.S. market launch this spring.

The entry to Subaru’s world of boxer-powered performance models takes place with the base WRX featuring a new 2.0-liter turbocharged engine delivering 268hp and 258 lb-ft (350Nm) for 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 5.4 second, and a starting price of $26,295 for the 6-speed manual gearbox model, excluding a $795 destination fee.

The slower continuously variable transmission (CVT) model has a starting MSRP of $29,695, again without destination and is offered in two trims, Premium and Limited.

All WRX models are fitted with 4.3-inch multi-information central display, a rear parking camera, an audio system with a CD and MP3/WMA capability and automatic climate control as standard.

If you move up to the Premium grade you also get a trunk spoiler, the All-Weather Package (dual-mode heated front seats, heated exterior mirrors and windshield wiper de-icer), glass sunroof and fog lights, while the Limited enhances the WRX with LED low-beam headlights, leather-trimmed upholstery, an 8-way power driver’s seat and Welcome Lighting.

The new 2015 Subaru WRX STI has a larger displacement 2.5-liter turbo’d boxer unit twisting out 305hp at 6,000 rpm and 290 lb.-ft. at 4,000 rpm, paired exclusively to a six-speed manual, and a starting price of $34,495, not including the $795 deliver charge.

The base STI includes Alcantara seating surfaces accented by red and black leather bolsters and red stitching, a Brembo Performance Brake System with Super Sport ABS, aero package, LED taillights, dual-zone automatic climate control and the aforementioned All-Weather Package plus an audio system.

If you go for the Limited model, you get leather-trimmed upholstery, an 8-way power driver’s seat, the harman/kardon premium audio system and a power sunroof for $38,495 (excluding destination).

For a limited time, Subaru will also produce 1,000 units of the WRX STI Launch Edition priced from $37,395, which comes in a WR Blue Pearl paint, with gold-painted 18-inch BBS alloy wheels. It is based on the entry level STI adding blue highlights inside, a short-throw Shifter for the 6-speed manual and Keyless Access & Start system as standard.
