The FT-1 Concept received a lot of attention when it was first unveiled in Detroit, and immediately sparked speculations that it was a preview of Toyota’s much talked-about Supra revival.

However, you don’t need to wait around for the Japanese manufacturer to actually start making it in order to get a rough feel for what it’s like, because a drivable version is available in Gran Turismo 6 (GT6).

With an estimated 500(-ish) horsepower, the FT-1 is a very quick car that relies on turbocharging to achieve its performance. However, as the video review by Youtuber TC9700Gaming of the (virtual) car around the (virtual) Streets of Willow track (posted below) shows, it’s really prone to twitch oversteer but also understeer if too much speed is carried into the tighter corners.

It’s not any indication of what it would actually drive like in real life, in terms of limit handling, but with a detailed interior and the solid physics GT6 is known for, it definitely does more for you than a set of photos, even if they are live ones.
