Toyota Racing Development (TRD) is celebrating its 35 anniversary on US soil at the Chicago motor show. They’ve also chosen the venue to launch more aggressively-tuned off road variants of Tundra, Tacoma and 4Runner. They feature special TRD performance parts that make all of them better at covering fairly uneven ground at speed.

The Tundra gets a 2-inch lift on the front, but softer springs and all-black 18-inch wheels with Michelin ORP tires. Other distinguishing features for this “Tundra Like No Other” are the dual tailpipes, unique bed stamping, seat color and instrument panel ornament.

The “Taco Supreme” [sic] features the same suspension treatment (lift and softening) but rides on smaller 16-inch wheels; also black. Finishing it off are a TRD exhaust and black TRD PRO badge.

In the case of the “Rock Star 4Runner,” TRD have only raised its front by 1.5 inches, but all four wheels have an additional inch of travel. Wheels measure 17-inches in diameter and like the other two are finished in black and the look is topped of by TRD PRO badges and black accents on the front and rear bumpers.
