Lauge Jensen, a Denmark-based motorcycle boutique that recently made headlines for selling a 24-carat gold-plated bike with 250 small diamonds and a crocodile leather seat for $850,000 (approx. €615,000 – you can’t miss it in the gallery) and A. Kahn Design have announced a new collaboration that will see the British tuner selling the firm’s bikes at its showroom in Chelsea, London, and will also give birth to a special limited edition.

“We are delighted to be announcing this collaboration with Afzal and A.Kahn Design,” said Uffe Lauge Jensen, founder and chief creator of the motorcycle company. “We have long admired the Kahn business ethic and the innovation and quality of its vehicles. We have a shared passion and vision which for the first time can come together to create the world’s most desirable motorbike.”

Very few details were released about the limited run model, of which only 10 examples will be made for the UK, with A. Kahn Design stating that it will incorporate “visually dramatic handle bars, front forks and front and rear lamps allied to the bike’s signature rear fender”. The as-of-yet unnamed motorbike will feature a hand-built V2 engine offering a 0-60mph (96km/h) sprint of less than 4 seconds.

“Lauge Jensen is a magnificent example of design and performance combined,” commented Afzal Kahn. “The new limited edition Lauge Jensen motorbike by A. Kahn takes the cafe racer to a completely new level.”
