British musician VV Brown has hooked up with Vauxhall to customize and design her very own Adam city car. The design was inspired by VV’s album Samson and Delilah, which features a darker sound, influenced by artists like Bjork and James Blake.

VV Brown’s Vauxhall Adam features a matt black body with a geometric print across the roof and bonnet. The design process began with the Vauxhall Adam configurator, allowing VV to choose from a raft of design possibilities including a choice of exterior and interior colours, roof colours, decors, light packs and various headliners.

On the inside, the car has a leather interior with dark tinted rear window, the IntelliLink touch-screen infotainment system, and a multi-colour interior light pack. Additional features include VV’s signature stitched into the floor mats.

VV Brown says the design process came naturally to her, as she owns her own record label and ethical fashion brand VVVintage, an online sustainable fashion house, dedicated to the art of recycling fabrics, reinvention and the ethos of up cycled sustainability.

“Every day I have to customise. Making music and running my own label are all creative processes where you have to make something that exists a little better or different. Designing my own Vauxhall Adam was definitely the most unique experience I have had the pleasure to be apart off and a creative process that was a first for me. I really enjoyed it,” said the artist.

The car also appears in VV Brown’s video for “Faith”, her upcoming single from the album Samson and Delilah, released on March 14 in the UK.
