If you ever wondered just how much force a fire hydrant has when it breaks and shoots straight up, now you have the answer. The video you see below shows the immediate aftermath of just such a case that took place this past Saturday in San Diego.

Apparently, the Toyota sedan was rendered partly weightless and ended up that way after it was rammed from the side and into position by the white 1990s Chevy Suburban you see next to it. Nobdy was seriously injured.

However, aside from the spectacular man-made geyser, the incident did lead to the flooding of six nearby homes and the destruction of property. Ten people were left temporarily homeless but were helped by the Red Cross to find a place to stay overnight.
