The new Koenigsegg One:1 is a car whose performance figures are so cartoonish, its only place, really, are video games. The first to get it is the new Need for Speed game called Rivals, though in it, the Swedish car will probably blend right into all the arcadey madness going on – the only difference will is that it will actually be much closer to its real-life behavior than any of the others…
Seen here in digital form for the first time, this trailers shows it as both a cop’s and racer’s car, which would have been completely odd under any other circumstances and had this not been a classic NFS game in the way we’ve come to perceive it.
It won’t blow your socks off, but the video is available after the virtual jump. Had they introduced in a game that actually gives damn about how cars actually drive and accelerate, we would have cared more, but this is the least attractive context they could have put it in, at least for those for whom remarkable titles in the racing genre are not Mario Kart or Trackmania…
