We’re taking a quick break from our continuous Geneva Motor Show coverage to share with you a revealing photo of the next generation 2015 Hyundai Sonata sedan that came to our attention.

If you missed last night’s news, Hyundai dropped an official sketch of the new Sonata, codenamed LF, while also confirming an unveiling in South Korea before the end of this month, and a world premiere at the New York Auto Show in April.

The application of Hyundai’s new ‘Fluidic Sculpture 2.0’ styling theme on the next Sonata translates into a more serious-looking snout with defined lines. It’s worth mentioning that, in some Korean forums, we saw people comparing the LF with the…Chevrolet Malibu.

Hyundai hasn’t divulged any information on the next Sonata’s powertrain lineup, but for what it’s worth, we have heard rumors of the Koreans replacing the base 2.4-liter naturally aspirated unit with a smaller displacement turbo.
