If you don’t mind paying $1 per car, something which you’ve done before as a Forza 5 player, then the latest car pack DLC will be one to remember. Called the ‘Top Gear Car Pack’ it adds the usual ten new names to the game’s vehicle roster, and this time, what they’ve decided to add are eight cars, one SUV and one (quite sporty) van.

Yes, that’s right, you’ll be able to drive a fast diesel van in Forza 5. The vehicle in question is the 2011 Ford Transit SuperSportVan, which features the Blue Oval’s 3.2-liter five-pot oil burner that’s good for 198 hp. The powerplant doesn’t normally come under the bonnet of this smallest of Transit bodies, so performance is quite brisk. If you’ve played Forza Horizon, then you know it from there too.

Another oddity is the 2006 Hummer H1 Alpha. It differentiates itself from regular H1s through its more powerful diesel engine that with 95 extra horses pushes it past sixty in 13 seconds.

The other names added through this Top Gear-flavored pack are: 1966 Chaparral #66 Chaparral Cars 2E, 2013 Holden #10 Xbox Racing Team Commodore VF, 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STi, 2013 Audi RS 4 Avant, 1980 Renault 5 Turbo, 1999 Lotus Elise Series 1 Sport 190, 1998 Nissan R390 and 2013 Lexus GS350 F Sport.
