What are the chances of getting a Volga here in the States; we’ll, if your name doesn’t start with Jay and end in Leno, pretty slim, right? Correct, but thanks to last film of the Die Hard franchise with Bruce Willis as badass detective John McClane from 2013, one of the Volga taxicabs starring in the movie is now offered for sale in Ft Lauderdale, Florida.
The eBay seller states: “Only 65k mile, very good condition, show car, works great, this car was in the movie GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD, Bruce Willis were sitting in the taxi in Moscow and the taxi driver was singing”.
There’s no mention if the car has been registered for use in Florida or any other state (it could be an issue if you want to drive it, especially since it’s not covered by the 25-year old exemption rule), but I can’t imagine a better car to fit a dashboard camera and record reactions on the road…
If it tickles your fancy, the starting bid on eBay is set at $8,000.
