Far from being the happiest collection of styling cues, the Mercedes-Benz GLA looks like what it is: a taller A-Class, and no amount of fluff marketing will ever change that.

However, Mercedes could reposition the GLA, and have it face off against the MINI Paceman and even lower spec Range Rover Evoque coupes, if they gave it a lower roofline and got rid of two of its doors. It would certainly make for a more individual looking vehicle, if the rendered interpretation posted here is anything to go by.

Created by AutoProjecoes, it’s not very different from the five-door, and it’s probably the approach Mercedes itself would adopt if it were to actually make one of these.
