Sometimes, we’re so enamored with the world of four wheels that we tend to forget that, if it’s acceleration you’re seeking on land, you can’t really beat a proper two-wheel creation, especially once you factor in the acquisition costs.

You can see that in the following drag race between a BMW S 1000 RR superbike and two of the fastest production sports cars in the world, the Lamborghini Aventador and the Bugatti Veyron GS Vitesse.

Whereas the Lambo will cost you some $400k and the Bugatti five or more times that at around $2 million, just $15,150 will place your buttocks on a brand new BMW S 1000 RR powered by a 190hp (193PS) 1.0-liter inline-four with which you can “beat the snot” out of both cars, as one YouTube commentator eloquently put it.

You may also need to acquire a pair of balls the size of coconuts to fully exploit the BMW’s potential, but that’s another story…
